Fees and Payment Policy

Session Fees 

Sessions at Oak Haven Psychology are billed at a rate of $220 for a 50-minute. Fees are reviewed periodically, and current fees are published on the Oak Haven Psychology website. Session fee is payable at the end of session. The clinic will attempt to take payment using the credit card details provided to us on the night of the appointment.

Written reports, letters, or information shared with third parties (e.g. schools, NDIS, GPs, insurers) require written consent and may attract an additional fee.

Medicare Rebates 

Under the Medicare Benefits Schedule (Better Access), Medicare rebates of $98.95 per session are available to clients with a valid mental health care plan. A Mental Health Treatment Plan can be accessed through a referral from a GP, with Medicare rebates limited to 10 sessions per calendar year.

Private Health Insurance

Some health insurance policies cover psychology services. Please check with your insurance company as to what you are eligible for.

Department of Veterans' Affairs

Oak Haven Psychology welcomes all white and gold card holders. Payments are managed by Here Now Psychology and there is no out of pocket expense.

Victim Services Funding

Victims Services clients must have an approval number issued from the Victims Services office which will need to supply when booking the initial consultation. Clients are provided with up to 22 hours per claim approved by Victims Services. Invoices will be sent directly to Victims Services for payment. Payments are managed by Oak Haven Psychology.
